Marr Agency is progressing with the times! We are making a few upgrades to our rental process that we are excited to share. Please see below for information on the new lease process as these upgrades are going into effect as we begin to send leases for Fall 2024 and the entire 2025 Season. Electronic Lease Signatures: For about 5 years Marr Agency has been accepting electronic signatures from tenants. It has proven to be a simple and desired way to get tenant signatures. To expand that convenience, Marr Agency will now also be collecting signatures for leases from owners as well. The leases will be signed electronically by owners via DocuSign to help streamline the lease signature process. As we start sending Fall 2024 and all 2025 leases, you will notice the leases being sent to both tenants and owners for their electronic signatures. An executed copy will automatically be emailedd to the tenant, owner, and Marr Agency once both parties have signed the lease.
Online Payment Portal: The way that tenants make online payments is getting an upgrade as well! We will no longer be partnering with PayLease/Zego. We are upgrading our online payment capabilities so that tenants will now be able to use the Tenant Portal associated with our rental software to track their lease information and also make online payments. This process should be much more streamlined as the online payment platform is now tied directly to your lease in our system. Account creation and making payments should be much easier now! Please note you will need to make an account in our tenant portal using the link on your lease or in the lease confirmation email. Once created, you can use this Tenant Portal to make all subsequent payments you wish to make online.
Online Owner Payments (Coming Soon!): Within a few weeks, Marr Agency will now also be able to pay owners electronically via ACH should they desire. With the correct authorization and account information, we will be able to direct deposit rental payments into your desired account. We will send additional information about this feature so that owners who wish to take advantage of it will be able to do so! If you prefer to receive your check “the old fashioned way,” that is certainly still an option and we can proceed on that path.
