Now that summer has arrived, we are so happy that you are going to join us in Ocean City, NJ. But before you go, please keep in mind that beach tags are required for all beachgoers. Here you will find everything you need for a fun-filled day at the beach.
Beach tags are required for beachgoers ages 12 and up. Seasonal beach tags are available for $25.00. Weekly ($10) and Daily ($5) beach tags are available on the beach and in the following locations:
Free beach tags are available for active military members (and their spouse and dependent children over 12) and veterans (veteran only). Proper military or veteran ID is required to receive a beach tag. For more information, go here.
A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- No refunds or exchanges of beach tags under any circumstances.
- The City of Ocean City is not responsible for misplaced, lost, stolen or forgotten beach tags.
- Beach tags may come off bathing suits if worn in the ocean.
- Displaying a counterfeit or forged beach tag is a third-degree crime and, offenders will be prosecuted.
