Did you know October is Fire Prevention Month? In honor of fire safety, the Ocean City Fire Department and IAFF Local 4032 will hold their annual Open House on Thursday, October 10th. Events will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the station located at 550 Asbury Avenue. Everybody in the community is invited to this free event. The event will feature a live burn demonstration, a “smoke house” where kids can safely learn to navigate a dark and smoky structure, tours of trucks, a helicopter landing, and more.
