October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, taking place this Sunday, October 15,  is a great way to unite, honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, as well as remember loved ones lost.

The non-competitive 3-5 mile walk raises awareness and funds to help the American Cancer Society free the world from the pain and suffering caused by breast cancer. Last year’s event attracted more than 5,000 walkers and breast cancer survivors, and raised $288,000 for breast cancer research, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Registration begins at 8:30 am at 9th Street and the Boardwalk.  The walk begins at 10:00 am.  For more information call 856-673-5721 or visit http://bit.ly/2xrACww.
