Summer is just about here! Schools are letting out and families are heading down to OCNJ.  But before they arrive, here are some ways you can prep your property to ensure your renters have an enjoyable, carefree stay:

Turn on utilities: If you had your cable, hot water, or any other service turned off during the off-season, check that they are all turned back on before your first renter’s stay.

Service your air conditioner: It can get hot out on the beach, and your guests will look forward to cooling down inside their rental home. Service now to make sure the air conditioner is in good working order.

Spring cleaning: Your property should be at its best inside and out for your renters. Here are some spring cleaning tips to make sure your home is in top-notch condition:  http://marragency.com/spring-cleaning-check-list-landlords/

Power wash the exterior: First impressions matter! Your renters want to stay in a home that is well taken care of – and that starts with the outside.

By following this checklist, you will help to avoid any headaches later on.  Properties that are well maintained result in happy customers, which makes for repeat rentals!
