OCNJ Beach Tags

Ocean City, New Jersey Beach Tag Information

Headed to the beach? Don’t forget your beach tags! From June 4, 2016 through September 5, 2016, beach tags are required for beachgoers ages 12 and up.   Seasonal beach tags are available for $25.00.  Weekly ($10) and Daily ($5) beach tags are available on the beach and in the following locations:

  • – City Hall (9th and Asbury), Mon-Fri, 8:45-6; Sat-Sun 10-6
  • – Rt. 52 Welcome Center, Mon-Fri, 9-6; Sat 9-5; Sun 9-4  (summer hours)
  • – Ocean City Music Pier (Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace), Daily starting at 9:30 a.m.
  • – Henry Knight Building (12th and Haven), Mon-Fri, 9-4
  • – Aquatic & Fitness Ctr (17th and Simpson), Mon-Fri, 6am-9pm; Sat 8-5; Sun 9-5
  • – 34th Street Welcome Center – At Simpson Avenue (Mon.-Sat. 10-4; Sun 9-2)
  • – 46th St Information Center – 46th Street and West Ave (weekends; 10-4)

Free beach tags are available for active military members (and their spouse and dependent children over the age of 12) and veterans (veteran only). Proper military or veteran ID is required to receive a beach tag.

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • – No refunds or exchanges of beach tags under any circumstances.
  • – Sometimes rentals provide the beach tags, check your rental contract and see if it is included.
  • – Children under the age of 12 do not need a beach tag.
